Instrument ranges are derived from standard orchestration references (Adler, Blatter and similar). Values are approximate and cited as such on each chart. Tempo markings follow Italian-language tradition as used in standard reference works.

Scale, chord and interval definitions follow standard Western music theory. No proprietary data source is used. All formulas are documented on the Methodology page.
